Terms & Conditions
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using kumbhrooms.com (the "Site"), operated by [Your Registered Business / Firm Name], you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Nature of service
The Site lists accommodation (rooms, cottages, tents, dormitories) offered by independent property owners/hosts near the Kumbh Mela grounds. We act as a facilitator connecting guests with hosts; the underlying stay is provided by the host, not by us directly, unless stated otherwise for a specific property we operate ourselves.
3. Enquiries and bookings
- Submitting an enquiry through the Site does not guarantee a confirmed booking.
- A booking is confirmed only after we or the host verbally/in writing confirm availability and, where applicable, receive a token payment.
- You are responsible for providing accurate contact and identification details for check-in.
- Valid government-issued photo ID is required at check-in for all guests, in line with local and event-specific security requirements during the Kumbh Mela.
4. Pricing and payments
Prices displayed on the Site are indicative and may vary based on dates, occupancy, and availability, particularly around major Amrit Snan dates. Final pricing will be confirmed before you make any payment. Accepted payment methods and any advance/token payment requirements will be communicated at the time of booking.
5. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation and refund terms are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
6. Guest conduct
- Guests are expected to treat host properties, staff, and fellow guests with respect.
- Property owners reserve the right to refuse or end a stay in cases of misconduct, damage, or violation of house rules, without refund.
- Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property during their stay.
7. Limitation of liability
We make reasonable efforts to verify listed properties, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of amenities (such as water or power supply) given the scale and conditions of the Kumbh Mela. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your stay, travel delays, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including crowd-related disruptions, weather, or government directives.
8. Force majeure
We are not responsible for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, public health emergencies, or crowd-control measures at the mela grounds.
9. Intellectual property
All content on the Site, including text, images, and design, is owned by or licensed to [Your Registered Business / Firm Name] and may not be reproduced without permission.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [City], [State].
11. Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
